Along with removing the wallpaper, we also had to fix some of the other ugliness. Here's that fantastic floor, remember that we pulled up TWO floors above this one.
And then we put in this beautiful Pergo-style floor. Very simple, as long as you have the right tools. Most of which are in this first photo.
This is actually the hallway, but wanted to show how the flooring went together
We also painted the trim! The same dark blue as the rest of the first floor.
